The Import tool (shown above left) allows you to import data from an earlier version of Checkbook for Excel or a number of different file formats. If you are upgrading from version, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x or 6.x, simply click the tool and then click the Import Previous Version tool (shown above right). Follow the instructions when you are prompted to open your old Checkbook for Excel file and the data from the previous version will automatically be imported into the new version.
You can also import data from Quicken®, QuickBooks® and other financial programs and web sites into Checkbook for Excel using one of several different file formats. Click the links below for more details on how to proceed for the file format you are importing.
