Handicap Cards
Handicap Manager for Excel makes it easy to produce handicap cards. First, use the Prepare Golfer Report function described earlier to display the golfers for whom you wish to prepare handicap cards. If you are preparing cards for all the golfers, then make sure all the golfers are displayed. If you just want to prepare cards for golfers belonging to a particular golf club, select that particular course when you prepare the report. Then click the Prepare Handicap Cards button and the cards will be automatically generated and displayed in the Handicap Cards worksheet.
The Handicap Cards worksheet is formatted to print onto standard business card perforated sheets (Avery 8371 or equivalent). Depending on the type of printer you are using, you will probably need to adjust the page margins using Excel's Page Layout tools for the information to be centered correctly on the cards. See the Troubleshooting Handicap Cards topic if you have difficulty getting your handicap cards to print properly.
When you use the Prepare Handicap Cards function, cards are only prepared for the golfers that are currently displayed on the Golfers worksheet. Although the cards are automatically updated if you recalculate handicaps or change any golfer information, you will need to use the Prepare Handicap Cards function each time you add or delete a golfer, change handicap calculation methods or whenever you use the Prepare Golfer Report function to display only golfers from a specific course. Just to be safe, it is a good idea to use the Prepare Handicap Cards function just before printing handicap cards. This will insure that the cards contain the most accurate, up to date information.
The Handicap Cards show each golfer's complete scoring record as well as the "Handicap Type" code indicating any exceptions or conditions. For more information on the "Handicap Type" codes and other information on the cards, see the Preparing Golfer Report topic.
