Checkbook for Excel provides the ability to export any of the ledgers, reports, summaries, etc. to a separate file. This feature is meant to provide a snapshot of the exported worksheet that can be modified, saved, printed, etc. The exported worksheet is completely separate from Checkbook for Excel so it will no longer have any of the functionality of the original worksheet. However, the exported worksheet will be completely unprotected so you can edit the data and customize the formatting however you like. Also, changes to the exported worksheet do not affect or change any information in Checkbook for Excel.
To use the function, activate the worksheet you want to export and click the Export tool shown above. An exact copy of the active worksheet will be displayed in a separate file. You can use Excel's File-Save command to save the file if you would like to keep it.
